A fitness trainer teaches healthy eating habits. The trainer may work with small groups. The trainer may also work with just one person at a time.
The trainer has to know how to use the exercise machines. A fitness trainer has to know how to fix the equipment. The trainer has to teach others how to use the machines correctly.
To be a fitness trainer, you need to be certified. That means you need to take classes and pass tests. You need to know CPR in case someone stops breathing. You need training in treating injuries.
